September: Month of the Seven Sorrows of Mary
The month of September is devoted to the Seven Sorrows of Mary, emphasizing the immense suffering that the Virgin Mary endured alongside Jesus Christ.
It highlights her role as the spiritual mother of all believers.
During this month the faithful are invited to meditate on the sorrows that the Blessed Virgin Mary endured throughout her life for the sake of humanity. Our understanding of her compassion and her role in salvation is deepened.
The "Seven Sorrows of Mary" refers to seven key moments
of anguish in Mary's life:
1. The Prophecy of Simeon in the Temple
2. The Flight into Egypt to Save the Infant Jesus
3. The Loss of the Child Jesus in Jerusalem for Three Days
4. Meeting Jesus as He Carried His Cross to Calvary
5. The Crucifixion and Death of Jesus on the Cross
6. Taking Jesus Down from the Cross
7. The Burial of Jesus in the Tomb

Baptismal Preparation classes will take place on the first Saturday of every Month at 10 am. Baptisms will be held are held on the third Saturday of the month, or on a date requested by the Family. Please call the office for more information or to register.

Anointing the Sick

Please call the Church office to schedule a time. Anointing of the sick will also take place on the first Saturday of every month after the evening Mass.

First Communion and Confirmation

Preparation for First Communion and Confirmation may be completed through CCE or OCIA classes, depending on the age and prior sacraments of the candidates. Please contact the office for more information.
